Chris always had a penchant for music starting with his music teacher in elementary school, Mrs. Funk. which is probably the best name for a music teacher ever. He loved singing, playing on the recorder, learning music, and being exposed to new songs. but it wasn't until his parents overheard him watching, "The Wonder Years," would his life change. "Man I wanna play guitar like Kevin." For Christmas that year his parents and grandparents pooled together to get him a guitar and lessons in 3rd grade. But boy...did he hate it. ​The strings hurt his fingers and for whatever reason he couldn't figure out how to finger chords and strum at the same time. Fast forward to Senior year in school and Chris got a teacher who would help him put it all together. Shout out to Mr. Bessy.

Chris started playing for church trips and Sunday services and for years just honed his skills. Finally he took the leap and got his first paid gig at Silver Creek Bar and Grille in Fredericksburg, TX. Since then the amount of places he has played for has grown to a ton of different venues. And, his ability to sing has enhanced from a regular singing voice, to singing with the grit, passion, and intensity that we see today.
